Wet Commute

It's raining this morning as commuters head to work along the appropriately named Grey St in Hamilton.

Congratsto V8 goers. The TV reported that there were less trouble this year.

I mentioned before, but not recently, after Mad Max movie in the 1970s, I never want to watch any sports involved in burning gas. Even when Scot Dixon is racing. I can never understand why people want to burn gas like that. When one day, there will be no more gas.

Same as shopping bags, went to Warehouse and declined a bag. Held my shopping in my hand. Though I always forget to take my recycle bags.

Again back in the 70s, I was flatting with my friends. We shopped at the cheapest supermarket 3 guys. We brought our grocery back in thos big paper rubbish bags.

Hi Ann

I agree about the petrol, unless you're a die hard motor sports fan it does seem a waste to say nothing of the pollution.

Yes I remember 3 Guys and the good old paper rubbish bags. I wonder why they don't re-introduce paper shopping bags?

Hi Lynn, thank you so much for your nice comments. I hope some of my photos give an idea and feel for what's happening in and around Hamilton and the Waikato. I enjoy taking them, just have to remember to take my camera with me all the time lol :)
